Winter 2019 190 students from around the world gathered in NYC for Master classes and workshops with Hamilton cast members and creatives, and Nicole got to oversee it all! It was a truly inspiring weekend for all who participated.

Nicole is thrilled to be coordinating the 2019 Broadway Student Summits for the Broadway Teaching Group. BTG kicked off the fun with a January Frozen Student Summit featuring cast and creatives from Broadway production.

Winter 2018 Helen on 86th St. is a finalist for the London Film Awards Screenplay Competition.

Fall 2018 Nicole's new television pilot, Coop, is a Semi-finalist in the Table Read My Screenplay/Austin Film Festival Competition.

Summer 2018 Nicole is back at the annual Broadway Teachers Workshop in NYC leading the opening session for arts educators from across the country and around the world!

Spring 2018  Nicole makes the Top 6 ISA Fast Track Fellowship List and gets a Special Mention for her Helen on 86th St. screenplay.

Nicole and choreographer Valerie Salgado launch the Helen Dance Project, a series of dance videos inspired by Helen on 86th St. Watch the first installment, The Journey is the Destination, sung by Leenya Rideout, and danced by Courtney Liu, Michael Dauer, Stephanie Brooks, here.

Nicole spends four days in Stowe, VT at the Stowe Story Labs, perfecting her pitch, refining her Helen on 86th St. screenplay, and connecting with an amazing group of filmmakers, writers, and creative producers.

The Helen on 86th St. screenplay is an official selection of the U.K./Canadian-based TinselTown Productions screenplay competition.

Spring 2017 Nicole is thrilled to begin work on a musical adaptation of Leslie Connor's young adult novel Dead on Town Line.

Nicole gets back on camera filming scenes as a 19th- century Russian aristocrat (Drunk History), an uppity shop clerk (Proud Mary), and a 1930s Red Sox player's wife (The Catcher Was a Spy).

Fall 2016 Nicole's Teacher Resource Guide for Lincoln Center Theater's revival of Falsettos is now available here.

The screenplay for Helen on 86th St. is awarded Best Feature Musical Screenplay in the International Family Film Festival Screenplay Competition, and is a Quarter-Finalist in the Final Draft Big Break Screenwriting Competition.

Nicole joins an amazing group of writers for a residency at the Noepe Center for Literary Arts in Martha's Vineyard.

The screenplay for Helen on 86th St. is a finalist for Best Musical Screenplay at the 2016 International Family Film Festival.

Summer 2016  Nicole gets working on the Teacher Resource Guide for the Lincoln Center Theater revival of William Finn's Falsettos.

Nicole leads an acting workshop for students from across the country and moderates a "Path to Broadway" panel with Broadway performers from On Your Feet and Fiddler on the Roof at the Broadway Student Summit in New York City.

Nicole leads musical theater workshops for the Bard in Brooklyn summer program at BAM, and choreographs the opening and closing of their production of Romeo & Juliet.

Nicole is awarded an artist residency at the Marble House Project in Vermont to work on her musical The Order of Things and a film adaptation of Helen on 86th St. 

The school edition of Helen on 86th has its international premiere in Shanghai, China.

Winter 2015:  Nicole is a finalist for the Kleban Prize for lyric writing.
